One of our favorite weekend activities when Caitlyn lived in the Third Ward was to try the many coffee shops in the area. We'd sit for hours reading or doing a crossword together, or take it to go and walk Riley along the Riverwalk.

A Third Ward staple. Can't count how many times we went here for our favorites: big sandos from The Green Kitchen, green curry from Thainamite, or a lil treat from C. Adams Bakery!

Explore the Third Coast! We've walked here many times to soak up the fleeting Milwaukee spring/summer. You can also rent a Bubblr bike and explore that way!

If you're visiting from out of town, you can't go wrong with stopping at Lakefront Brewery for a drink or a brewery tour. They have an amazing patio and better cheese curds.

A family favorite enrichment. These are indoor botanical gardens, all three with a different theme. Great way to spend a few hours if you're in town for the weekend!

If you're in town for the weekend, check out American Family Field (aka Miller Park, aka Wrigley North) to see if the Milwaukee Brewers are playing!

Also stop by the Deer District, home of Fiserv Forum & the Milwaukee Bucks! Even if the Bucks aren't in the play-offs by then, this is a cool area with lots of bars and restaurants to check out.
